Registration in the system

To connect Internet banking from BelVEB Bank, the first step is to issue a payment card, if you do not have one yet. If so, then you don't have to go to the bank.

You just need to find the nearest ATM or information kiosk of BelVEB Bank or any of the partner banks.

Insert the card into an ATM (infokiosk) and select the item "Internet bank", after opening access, the device will give you a check on which the login and password will be indicated.

After that, go to the bank's website, enter all the data and press the button "To come in". The system will ask you to come up with a personal code and confirm it using SMS, which will be sent to the phone number that was specified in the ATM.

Then it remains to pay for the connection, which costs 2 BYN, and “restart” the system.

We had to run, of course, but we managed :)


Data recovery

Although you don’t have to go to the bank, but sitting at your computer at home, you still can’t recover data. If you have forgotten your username and password, then you can recover data only at an ATM (infokiosk).

Similarly to the connection, in the device menu you need to select the item "Internet bank" and function "Change password". The valid login will be indicated on the issued check (after the password).


Functional

A lot of functions have been brought to the main page of Internet banking. First of all, the eye falls on information about the card and its balance. A little lower is data on the account number, deposits and loans, if you have them open.

All payments that you previously made in the Internet Bank will be automatically saved and displayed on the main page, but for some reason you can’t group or sort them.

As it turns out, the service "Create a card" still does not work, and you can apply for a loan online only if you have salary card. Otherwise, you have to go to the bank.

Therefore, we became interested: why do we need the ability to open an account, maybe you can open an account in the Internet bank and pay for services without a card? With this question, we turned to the contact center.

The contact center assured us that it was possible to replenish the account, but it would still not be possible to pay for services in the Internet bank without a card, which made us even more bewildered.

After long negotiations with consultants, it seemed to us that, apparently, the bank itself did not fully understand why the service had such a service. According to the contact center, before making a deposit, the link to open which is also on the main page, the client needs, first of all, to open an account.

But a nice bonus was the opportunity not only to see the addresses of the nearest branches, information kiosks and ATMs directly from the main page of the Internet bank, but also to find them on the map.

In chapter "Payments" we found a standard ERIP system with the ability to search for services, as well as a section called "Popular Payments", which will undoubtedly make life easier for many users of the system.

Checks for transactions are located in the same section, here you can see transactions for any month, as well as print a check, but we could neither save it nor send it to e-mail.

In chapter "Translations" we found services "Free payment" and "Transfer to card", which are available in almost any Internet banking.

Therefore, we are more interested in the function « International transfers» , implying not transfers to cards of foreign banks, as we expected, but international urgent transfers BLIZKO.

So now BelVEB Bank customers do not even have to get up from their favorite chair to quickly transfer money.

In the same section there is a service "Electronic money", which will please many owners of electronic wallets.

And at the very end of the list, we noticed a new section called "Penny Scarach" and immediately became interested in them.

"Penny Scarach"- these are instant money transfers that can be received without being a client of the bank, it is enough to have a passport with you. But even here disappointment awaited us, the section was empty :(

As we were assured by experts, it is also under development, as is the design of online cards. So it remains to wait a bit until BelVEB Bank finalizes its system.


Tester's opinion

Internet banking from BelVEB Bank undoubtedly has good functionality. For example, a very useful feature is the search for ATMs and branches, and it will not be difficult to restore authorization data for the system.

But empty sections like "Create a card" and "Penny Scarach" I was not pleased. Plus, they didn’t answer any questions about opening an account in the contact center.

Transfers can only be made to the card of BelVEB Bank, and to cards of other banks, only through the function "Free payment".

On the other hand, BLIZKO transfers and the ability to replenish electronic wallets were a big plus, which nevertheless managed to improve the overall impression of the system.
