Then somehow I forgot, and only yesterday I again decided to replenish my wallet. The situation repeated itself. I called Privatbank (phone number on the back of the bank card), they explained that it turns out a week ago the bank blocked the possibility of paying via the Internet for all cards. You can enable this feature on the Privat24 website. They could have warned ... Oh well. It's Privatbank :)

I will briefly describe. We go to the Privat24 system. Choose an item My accounts. We are waiting for the page to fully load (it took me almost a minute to load) and then in the column Card services, in front of your card, select an item from the drop-down list Open for Internet. A pop-up window will immediately appear in which you need to enter Payment amount limit:

If I understand correctly, this is the limit on the amount of payments per month. I may be wrong. Enter the amount and click on the button Confirm. We are waiting for the response of the system. If we receive a message Service is temporarily unavailable or An error occurred while opening the map for the Internet- do not give up and repeat the above steps. BUT! We don’t get carried away very much, because for every attempt, even an unsuccessful one, they take 50 kopecks! My operation was completed on the fourth try. Moreover, there were no messages about the successful completion of the operation. Noticed only by the icon Verified by VISA, which appeared in the column Card services:

I tried to transfer money to the Webmoney wallet again, but got an authentication error. Just in case, I waited half an hour and tried again. This time, the replenishment operation completed successfully.

In general, Privatbank, as always, is on top :) Well, the fact that money is withdrawn even for failed attempts to turn on the card for payment on the Internet is, of course, without words ... That is, even here the bank will not miss its benefit. By disabling the service like this, Privatbank will earn money for itself on sweets and introduce more people to the Privat24 system.

PrivatBank has launched the first mass-scale secure payment system in Ukraine using AirPay, which will work on any smartphone and with the majority of POS-terminals operating in retail outlets.

Unlike other contactless systems, AirPay does not require terminal upgrades outlet or the presence of a special device from the buyer. The service works with any Android smartphone or iPhone.
