As part of the project, we continue to test remote banking systems for Belarusian banks. We recently received a new one. The service in the office was excellent. And today we will test the Internet bank, we hope that the bank will be able to maintain a high bar in terms of service level :)

Registration and data recovery

Registration in the BTA Bank Internet Bank, as well as data recovery, is a fairly simple process. To get a login and password (and it doesn’t matter if you are registering for the first time, or you just lost your data), you need to follow the link "Registration", which can be found when you log in.

Then this page will open, where you will need to specify personal number passport and incomplete card number.

If you specify everything correctly, then it remains only to come up with a password. The login is set by default.

We confirm the registration by SMS and choose a payment confirmation method that is convenient for us. There can be 2 ways:

  • The first is through SMS authorization. Each time you log in, you will receive a message on your phone with a session key, which you need to enter only when you log in
  • The second is the payment password. You will come up with this password yourself, each payment will have to be confirmed by them. You can change it later in the system settings.

If you forget your username and password, then proceed in the same way. The recovery process is, in fact, the same registration :)

Functional

In the center of the main page, I saw the avatar of the new card. To view the balance, you need to click a separate button called "Get Balance". Not a very convenient system - when entering the Internet bank, you still want to receive such information immediately, without additional actions.

If you click on the card itself, then you will be redirected to a page where you will find services for blocking and unblocking the card, statements, transaction history and quick transitions to payments.

Let's go back to the main screen...

Above the card, I found several links that lead to the bank's website, where you can get detailed information on loans, deposits and deposits. But the most interesting in this list - "Visit to the Bank".

The bank provides its customers with the opportunity to "book" a visit to the bank. In other words, you specify a convenient time for you, an address - and you can no longer wait in queues :)

At the top of the page, we also found many useful links and services…

Now let's go through the main menu. First section - "Payments and transfers".

Let's start with "Payments". The ERIP system in the service, and indeed the payment system in general, turned out to be very convenient to use. Payments are divided into folders such as "Popular Payments", "Credits", "Charity Payments" and some others.

You can find a service not only by the payer number, but also by using an advanced search, for example, by the name of the recipient.

I want to note that after payment, the payment can not only be added to the section "Selected Payments", but also send a copy of the check to e-mail, and also put it on the main page.

I also liked that the system has a service "One button payment". It's very convenient - check the boxes next to any saved payments, and then pay them with one click :)

Automatic payment can be set up in just a minute. You only need to specify the frequency, for example, once a month and the amount.

Transfers are possible both to your own cards and to the cards of other bank customers.

And the last function of the first section - "Payment history". It turned out that it is not as simple as it seems. Here you can not only view and download checks, but also re-pay for services.

As for the section "Payment cards" Well, not everything is as rosy as I expected...

Under the card, I found several fields for filling out an application, but it turned out that this application was not for any specific card, but only for communication with the bank.

Sectioned "Credits" and "Deposits" the same situation has arisen - a specialist will simply contact you and agree on the provision of services.

The last section is "GAI fines". Here you can check if you have fines, and then even save data about vehicle for the future:)

Personal opinion of the tester

At the first glance, it became clear that BTA Bank offers its users wide opportunities for making payments and transfers. I note convenient and intuitive system management, nice interface. Of the features, I will highlight the ability to track traffic police fines :)

Weakness - no remote clearance cards, deposits and loans.

But, in general, BTA Bank kept its high level of service :)

The procedure takes place according to the following algorithm:

  • You need to go to the official website of BTA Bank and find the "Internet banking" logo on the left.
  • If you have already submitted an online application for using the service, then in the appropriate fields you must enter exactly the login and password that you indicated in the questionnaire. You will also need a password for the secret key (it is also created when filling out the application).
  • If you request a service at a bank branch, on your first visit to online banking, the data that you filled out in paper form will be useful, and when requesting a secret key, you will simply need to enter your login in capital letters. That is, if the login is "Admin", then the key is "ADMIN".

The same amount is withdrawn if you decide to use the E-banking service again after terminating the contract with the bank, for example.

You will be notified of the amount of the fee (if any) for making other payments before making the selected transaction. There are no fees for using the service.

Each financial transaction is confirmed by a four-digit session password. It comes in the form of SMS or comes by e-mail and its validity period is only 20 minutes.
