Each sample is taken when loading or unloading the mixture from at least five places in the car at different depths. Samples taken from different wagons are not mixed and tested separately. If one sample is positive, the rest of the samples are not tested.

If the test results of one sample are unsatisfactory, a second sample is tested. If the test results of the second sample are unsatisfactory, the batch is not subject to acceptance. If the test results of the second sample are satisfactory, a third sample is tested, the test results of which are final.

Note. It is allowed to conduct a control check of the quality of the mixture per carload.

2.11. For a control check of the quality of the mixture in a batch shipped by water transport, one sample is taken from each part of the batch with a volume of not more than 500 tons (350 m3). Sampling is carried out during unloading and loading of the ship from conveyor belts or other types of handling equipment.

The quality of the mixture is determined by the arithmetic mean of the test results of all samples.
