What city is depicted on the banknote of 10 rubles. What cities are depicted on banknotes. Characteristic signs of authenticity

When my grandfather was younger than I am now, he began to build the Gorky hydroelectric power station (now Nizhny Novgorod).
And when they launched her last hydroelectric unit, he hit almost thirty. It was the mid 50's
and from the settlement of workers who built the station, a whole city grew up - Zavolzhye.
I saw the Nizhny Novgorod hydroelectric power station many times, and each time it made me a lot of impressions.
It is not surprising that I have always wanted to see the Krasnoyarsk hydroelectric power station, which is almost 12 times more powerful than the Nizhny Novgorod one.
A couple of months ago, the winding fate of the photographer took me to the edge of the Yenisei River, where the station is located.

At the entrance you immediately meet a giant portrait of Lenin. What building of the century did without it?

Our ancestors literally managed to defeat the laws of nature - in a harsh winter, block one of the largest rivers in the world
and maintain the desired air temperature at all 126 meters of height of the technical facilities of the station.

The mass of the dam reaches 15 million tons, which is comparable to the weight of 45 Empire State Building skyscrapers.

In 1972, when the hydroelectric power station was launched, there were no more than ten similar facilities in the world.
In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, the station provides more than 50% of the energy demand. On a Russian scale, the share of hydroelectric power plants is 2.3%

The source for replenishment of the 334-kilometer Krasnoyarsk reservoir is the snow of the Sayan Mountains.

A whole city of power engineers, Divnogorsk, also grew up around the station.

With the commissioning of the station in the Krasnoyarsk Territory, ferrous and non-ferrous metallurgy production began to be launched here,
chemical and woodworking enterprises.

This engine room is the heart of the hydroelectric plant. Surprisingly, it is crystal clear and quite calm.
True, a slight vibration of the floor is felt and a slight rumble is heard.
By the way, round red structures are the tops of hydraulic units.

Various electronics are installed here that control the industrial monster.

On this device, the parameters of the operation of the station mechanisms are set. Outsiders better not to touch)

The hydroelectric power plant is full of all kinds of iron that does not transmit radio waves, so mobile communication can be difficult -
Here you need good old wired phones.

It seems that before my arrival, a painter with a brush walked around the entire station - everything glitters and shines.
Very different from the old Soviet production. Western psychology of production already reigns here.

The hydroelectric power station works as follows: the mechanical energy of water is transferred to 12 hydro-generators, where it is converted into electrical energy.

Through transformers, it is distributed between units with a capacity of 220 and 500 kilovolts.

And then it is sent along power lines to consumers - factories and, in fact, ordinary residents Krasnoyarsk Territory.
By the mid-90s, the station was worn out by 50%. But only in the 2000s began reconstruction. It will continue until 2013.
9 out of 12 hydrogenerators have already been repaired. After modernization, the station can serve another 20 years.

A curious diorama allows you to look from above at the scale of the hydroelectric power station.

On the territory of the station there is a memorial complex "Glory to Labor" in the form of a truck with a raised body.
The fact is that the car played a key role in the construction of the hydroelectric power station.
During the peak period, 1120 drivers and 842 vehicles participated in the work - a whole battalion.

The water near the station is always cold, even in hot summers its temperature does not rise above 13 degrees.
Behind the dam, the river never freezes in winter for 200 km.

At night, the hydroelectric power station takes on a special beauty due to the illumination. I did not have the opportunity to wait for darkness, so I took the photo on the Internet.

By the way, you all could see the Krasnoyarsk hydroelectric power station on a ten-ruble note issued in 1997.
After its release, the station was chosen by tourists. Hundreds of people come to see the massive spillway every day.
I'm not the only one, apparently)

10 ruble banknotes of 1997 Surely all of us have. They are still on the move. For the most part, paper ten-ruble bills with which we pay in public transport and stores - modifications of 2004. Earlier modifications were out of circulation due to wear and tear.

10-ruble banknotes issued in 1997 are in demand among collectors, especially banknotes of rare series and modifications. Banknotes with a serial number consisting of a combination of identical numbers (for example, 2222222 or 555555) and representing a mirror digital index (for example: 2340432 or 4440444) are highly valued. Even modern banknotes with beautiful numbers are always extremely in demand on the numismatic market and are usually sold at twice the face value.

10 rubles issued in 1997 of all series on the territory of the Russian Federation, depending on the state of the banknote, can be bought for 80 - 100 r. "Ten" 1997, on which there is no modification, is more expensive - about 300 r. This amount may vary up or down depending on the condition of the bill. Similar banknotes of the rare "FF" and "CC" series, which have a limited circulation, can be bought for 800 and 400 rubles, respectively.

The impeccable condition of banknotes is indicated by the English word "press", which in translation into Russian means - press (the essence of the analogy is new banknote, which is just out of the press). What requirements must be met paper bill press?

  1. No wear. Flat, smooth and dense surface without bends and creases.
  2. Without traces of damage and dirt.
  3. Bright colors, clear lettering.
  4. Perfect right angles.

What does the term "modification" mean?

This is the addition of new security signs to the structure of the banknote. What does her appearance will remain virtually unchanged. For example, in 2004 the denomination of 10 rubles was modified with a strip on a metal base.

If you decide to sell ten-ruble bills of 1997, it is important to correctly assess their condition, since the amount that you can get from the transaction directly depends on this. We advise you to use the English IBNS valuation system, which is used by most collectors of rare banknotes.

Banknotes are evaluated according to their actual physical condition, which is indicated by an abbreviation of English letters:

  • UNC is new money that has never been in circulation.
  • AU - practically new banknote with very slight signs of wear. AU banknotes may have an inconspicuous fold and wet fingerprints.
  • XF is a banknote with minor wear, which allows one break or three transverse or longitudinal bends.
  • Mandatory requirement: creases and bends should not intersect with each other. Miniature roundings are possible at the corners.

  • VF - money with traces of circulation, intersecting bends, small spots, noticeable rounding at the ends. But banknotes should be dense and not frayed. Colors are bright.
  • F - banknotes that were in use. Banknotes may have spots, kinks, signs of wrinkling, slightly torn edges.
  • VG - banknotes with traces of long-term use: bends, creases, stickers in dreams of tears, a small hole in the center of the bill from frequent folding. The banknote must be whole with no missing parts.
  • G - a frayed, plain-looking bill - noticeable tears, multiple kinks, pronounced holes in the middle, large spots and ink inscriptions. But the integrity of the banknote must be preserved.
  • F - a bill with signs of minor damage.
  • P- banknote with serious damage. For example, a bill torn in half and glued with tape.

Every day we use money, but few of us have thought about what and for what reason is depicted on each bill.

Every day we use money, but few of us have thought about what and for what reason is depicted on each bill.

From the very beginning, we can say about the main symbol of banknotes and the entire state - the double-headed eagle. Note that the double-headed eagle is not crowned on money. This is explained by the fact that the eagle without crowns symbolizes the Provisional Government. It is this symbol that is located on the money for the reason that I wanted to emphasize the temporary connection and historical significance of the Bank of Russia, but it seemed too pretentious to place the crowned eagle.

All images on Russian banknotes are somehow connected with holy places and religious history. This is exactly the opposite of the original idea, according to which it was planned to place portraits of famous personalities on the money.

Russian banknotes are very interesting and diverse, they have their own history, which, you see, you need to know.

Larisa Glushkova

Not every citizen of Russia knows what is depicted on Russian banknotes. Of course, most likely, everyone knows that modern banknotes depict views of cities. But, for example, do you know which banknote depicts Yaroslavl or Khabarovsk? And Krasnoyarsk or Arkhangelsk? Or who is depicted on the five thousandth bill? Most likely, not everyone can answer these questions.

Once upon a time, images of great people were printed on banknotes. Gradually, this idea changed, and views of cities began to appear on banknotes of rubles. At first it was only Moscow. Starting with the reforms of 1995, on banknotes of Russian money, architectural monuments of various cities of Russia began to be placed as the main images.

Currently in cash flow There are banknotes denominated in rubles in Russia:

  • 10 rubles,
  • 50 rubles,
  • 100 rubles,
  • 500 rubles,
  • 1,000 rubles,
  • 5,000 rubles.

10,000 rubles: banknote under development

The layout of this banknote depicts memorable places in Sevastopol and Crimea, as well as the Vladimir Cathedral in the city of Chersonese. Of the sights of Sevastopol, the deputies proposed a monument dedicated to Admiral Nakhimov.

The new banknote proposed by Russian legislators is dedicated to the reunification of these geographical points with Russian Federation. According to the authors of the banknote, it should become a reflection of the historical date - 2014, that is, the moment the Crimea and Sevastopol returned to their historical homeland - Russia.

It is not yet known whether the Central Bank will introduce this banknote. The most popular ruble banknotes in Russia are 50, 100, 500. In order to replenish the market with a large denomination of 10,000 rubles, an inflation rate of no more than 1-2% is required. Today this figure is higher and tends to grow.

Any city in our country deserves to be depicted on cash tickets Russian bank. Each of them has attractions. But such an honor went to only a few cities. For future releases of new Russian banknotes this tradition may continue. And, perhaps, more than one Russian city will be represented on domestic banknotes.
